Project Overview
A homeowner contacted us for pond excavation and land clearing services in Albion, New York (Orleans County). They asked us to expand and deepen their existing pond. On top of that, this client wanted their property cleaned up and improved by removing an old collapsed barn, clearing out tree stumps, and grading the area.
How We Completed the Project

Stumps, Barn and Debris Removal
We began by removing the collapsed barn and all surrounding debris, clearing the site for safe and efficient work. Next, we removed 8–10 tree stumps that were scattered around the area. This not only opened up the land but also made it easier to grade and prepare for the pond expansion. We graded the cleared area to its final level, making sure it tied in smoothly with the existing landscape. Dirt and stones were moved behind the woods to keep the site neat and balanced.
Pond Excavation
The existing pond was widened and deepened as requested by the client. We extended the pond 8–10 feet wider on the north end and dug it to 12 feet deep. During excavation, an underground spring was discovered at 10 feet, which was a great advantage for maintaining water levels. When the soil conditions became challenging, we brought in new equipment to handle the job more efficiently—at no additional cost to the client.
