Brush Clearing Project in Kent, New York
Project Overview
Our client reached out looking for land and brush clearing services in Kent, New York (Orleans County). They owned an undeveloped piece of land with no prior work ever done on it. It was completely covered with thick brush, tall grass, weeds, and young saplings. The property needed a proper start.
They found us online while searching for a land clearing contractor who could cut access trails and open up usable space. Their goal was to finally take control of the property and make it ready for future development similar to this project where we installed a long gravel driveway after land clearing.
Unlike this other land clearing project where we removed tall trees, this job focused solely on brush clearing. There were no large trees to remove, just dense undergrowth and saplings up to 6 inches in diameter.

How We Completed the Project
Trail Clearing
We started by opening up a trail for the landowner. This provided access to the property from the road and was essential for getting equipment in and out.
Brush Hogging and Clearing Thick Overgrowth
Once we had the trails opened up, we used a large tracked skid steer with heavy-duty brush hog attachments to clear the rest of the lot. This included thick brush, tall grass, tangled weeds, & saplings up to 6 inches in diameter. The vegetation was mulched down on site, leaving behind a clean, open surface.
