Concrete Garage Floor Installation in Lyndonville, New York (Orleans County)
Project Overview
A repeat client from Lyndonville, New York (Orleans County) called us back for another upgrade. This time, a new concrete garage floor installation. After we previously completed his project where we refreshed their gravel driveway and installed a concrete patio last year, they knew who to call when it came time to finish their garage setup.

Excavation and Base Preparation
We began by preparing the 40×36 garage area, carefully measuring and marking out the pad. After forming the perimeter, we laid down geotextile fabric and applied #1 Crusher Run stones. This base layer was compacted and rolled to ensure a stable foundation for the concrete. At the same time, we excavated a 48×12 ft. area to the right of the garage (plus a curved radius) for a future gravel addition and cleaned up all excess dirt to keep the site tidy and ready for pouring.

Concrete Pouring
The next day, we returned to pour 20 yards of 4,250 psi concrete reinforced with mesh fibers and poured at 4 inches thick. The concrete was spread evenly to create a solid and smooth surface, ideal for a garage floor that’s built to last.

After a few days of curing, we came back to saw cut control joints into the concrete for crack control. We also applied the remaining crusher stones around the garage perimeter and transition areas to complete the grading and final finish.

Concrete Sealing (Yellow Area)
For extra protection, we’ll return in 30–45 days to apply a concrete sealer to the garage floor. This helps extend the life of the slab and keep it looking great.
Project Insights
Our client finally completed their garage! After investing in a clean gravel driveway and a beautiful concrete patio, the garage was the last piece to make the property feel truly finished.
